ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನಟಿ ತ್ರಿಷಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮುಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸನದ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿ. ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ವಿಜಯ್ (CM Vijay) ಹಾಗೂ ತ್ರಿಷಾ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಸೆಲ್ಯೂಟ್ ವಿನಿಮಯ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಘಟನೆ ಇದೀಗ ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ರಾಜಕೀಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರಿ ಸಂಚಲನ ಮೂಡಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಡಿಎಂಕೆ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಮುಖಪತ್ರ ‘ಮುರಸೋಲಿ’ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸಂಪಾದಕೀಯ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿ, ಸಿಎಂ ವಿಜಯ್ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ತೀವ್ರ ವಾಗ್ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿದೆ.

Actor Trisha Krishnan, the rumoured girlfriend of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay, seated in the first row during the Independence Day celebrations at Fort St George has not gone down well with the principal Opposition party.
In a sharply critical editorial in the DMK’s official mouthpiece, Murasoli, the party has questioned the two – Vijay and Trisha – exchanging salutes and the seating arrangement for the actor during the official programme.

Kharge questioned the BJP’s approach and challenged the party to also file complaints against leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
